How do I go about getting a custom-designed ring made?

Is it expensive to order a custom piece of jewellery?
Not really. I try to make art that is affordable. Sometimes the cost might even be less than the price of a mass produced product in a high street jewellery shop. Depends on the piece. Every single piece is made of the highest quality material with love, care and attention to detail.
How do I measure my ring size?

How can I check my lovers ring size without him/her knowing?
Take a ring that he already owns. Make sure it's for the same finger as the new ring. Or Wait till he/she is asleep and slip a ring sizer on his finger.

I saw a ring that I really like , but now I don’t see it in your webshop anymore! Do you still make it?
Yes, I probably do but it sometimes it takes time to upload everything onto the website. Just ask and I will send you a picture to confirm that we are talking about the same ring.
I want to melt my granny's gold and make something new and modern.
Heres how it works: I will give you a price for the new piece of jewellery. You send me the old gold and I will test it for purity. I will then send you an email with the value of the old gold according to the daily gold rate set by Ögussa. The value of your old gold will be reduced from the final price of the new piece. Bingo!
I feel when the gold comes from your family it adds a bit of extra Sentimentality to the piece. Here are a few ideas
I CAN'T DRAW! How can I explain my design idea to you?
You don't have to be Picasso. A scribble on the back of a beer matt is a perfect place to start. Or even a few words of inspiration. I will take it from there. If it's not possible to meet in person we can also arrange a skype meeting to discuss your plans.
I want to order a unique piece of jewellery but I have no idea what it should like.
No problem. I will ask a few questions like: who is it for? Is it for a special occasion? What kind of fashion/art/music does the person like? and you will be surprised how easily we come up with a unique design
How much does a diamond cost?
Too much! If you don't mind forking out lots of money for an overpriced, readily available rock.. well, go for it! But first maybe you might consider another beautiful and precious stone. There are so many to choose from Ruby, Emerald, Tourmaline , Sapphire etc.
How can I contact you to order a piece of jewellery?
My studio is in the beautiful and sunny south of Austria. If you're in the neighbourhood or your thinking about a holiday destination, Come visit and I will show you around my studio to see how all of this is made. Otherwise, we can arrange everything by email or skype. I work online regularly with many of my clients from all over the world
Is it safe to send jewellery by courier?
Yes, its no problem. All parcels have a tracking number and are insured. As soon as the parcel leaves my workshop you will receive an automatic email with all your tracking details.
