I'm fascinated with the line, the flow of a line or lines and the space on both sides. Without that space, it's not a line. A line is an expression of movement. After a line is drawn or sculpted its no longer moving but it moves you in a certain direction. A line is a positive mark, but can only exist due to the negative space around it. Flow.. positive space.
How does Tourmaline grow?
Tourmaline deposits are usually found in Granite or Metamorphic rocks. Rocks that are subjected to pressure or heat and begin to change. A little space deep underground in this changing rock may fill with a hot liquid/gas that is rich in different minerals. When the liquid begins to cool it may form a tourmaline crystal. It just blows me away! I mean nature is the real artist here!
Your Silver Pendant is made in Kaernten, Austria using 100% recycled gold, a steady hand and alot of joy.
